Qualitel Expands Pacific Northwest Presence with Acquisition of Fusion EMS

Qualitel is proud to welcome Fusion EMS to the Qualitel family.

This acquisition represents another important milestone in Qualitel’s growth and reinforces our commitment to providing mission-critical, high-reliability electronics manufacturing services throughout North America.

Located in Hillsboro, Oregon, at the heart of the Silicon Forest and the greater Portland metropolitan area, the Fusion EMS facility adds 30,000 square feet of manufacturing space, three SMT production lines, and an experienced team with a longstanding reputation for quality, responsiveness, and customer partnership.

The addition of the Hillsboro operation significantly strengthens Qualitel’s Pacific Northwest presence.  Combined with our headquarters and manufacturing operations in Everett, Washington and our Mexicali, Mexico facility, Qualitel now offers customers a strategically positioned manufacturing network spanning more than 200,000 square feet across three locations.

Like Qualitel, Fusion EMS has built its success on long-term relationships, operational excellence, and an unwavering commitment to quality. Most importantly, customers can expect continuity.  Fusion EMS will continue operating from its Hillsboro facility with its existing team and customer-focused approach.  Existing programs, supplier relationships, and day-to-day operations will continue without interruption.

For customers, the benefits are immediate.  The Hillsboro acquisition expands Qualitel’s electronics manufacturing capacity to 8 SMT production lines across our U.S. operations while increasing our ability to support high-mix, low-volume, and high-reliability programs from prototype through full-scale production.
