Qualitel Launches 4-Part Video Series to introduce Electronics Manufacturing to students across the USA
Qualitel, a leading contract manufacturer of mission-critical electronics, specializing in a full range of high-mix, low-volume, and high-reliability products and services, has launched Virtual Workplace, a 4-part short video series focusing on the electronics manufacturing process of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Assembly and Testing.
Virtual Workplace provides an informal look into Qualitel’s state-of-the-art facilities in Everett, Washington. The series features Qualitel’s President, Tuanhai Hoang, sharing a close-up view of the world of PCB assembly as he walks the plant floors and introduces SMT key processes and ESD. Not only are the videos meant to be informational, Hoang hopes to create excitement for careers in the field.
“We are committed to supporting the growth and sustainment of our local workforce by developing careers in electronics manufacturing here in the U.S.,” says Hoang. “Hopefully this inspires kids and adults to have a career in electronics.
The 4-part series features unique challenges in the industry and how Qualitel solves them:
- What does an electronics manufacturer like Qualitel do?
- What is ESD and how does Qualitel eliminate it?
- How the SMT process actually is done at Qualitel?
- How the electronics are tested at Qualitel?
A new video will be released each week throughout March. Stay tuned!
