There’s an old saying that “growth is never by mere chance; it’s the result of forces working together.” We couldn’t agree more! Here at Qualitel, we’re thrilled to report continued rapid growth, a journey that presents its own set of exciting challenges and opportunities.

Investing in Our Future

As we’ve watched our customer base flourish, we’ve seized the chance to invest more in the people and technology that make Qualitel what it is today. At the core of our approach are three vital principles: speed, flexibility, and responsiveness. Whether we’re working on one-off prototypes or navigating large production runs, these principles guide us every step of the way.

Staying Strong Through Covid

Let’s talk about the elephant in the room: Covid-19. We’re incredibly proud that we kept our facility 100% operational during these tough times, and that we were able to retain every member of our incredible team. Not just that, we’ve expanded our workforce by 25% and are still looking to fill over 20 positions!

Anticipating Customer Needs

Over the last three years, we’ve ramped up investments in our facilities and state-of-the-art equipment. Our philosophy? “Build it before it comes.” In other words, we’re not just reacting to growth; we’re anticipating it.

New Additions to Our Facility

We’re not standing still; far from it! We’ve recently incorporated a third Panasonic line equipped with three high-speed SMT placers, primarily aimed at handling New Product Introductions (NPIs). This addition means that we now have three identical high-speed SMT lines for production and two Mycronics SMT lines for quick-turn projects and prototyping in our specialized Qualitel Express department.

Investments in 2023

This year alone, we’ve committed over $1.5 million in installing new equipment to up our game. From additional screen printers and inline CT X-rays to Hass environmental chambers and inline washers, we’re all in on delivering the very best to our customers.

Looking Ahead

As we celebrate an astounding 28 years in this dynamic industry, we’re not resting on our laurels. We’re preparing for the next 50 years with the same vigor, standing firm on a rock-solid foundation of quality and integrity.
